Doug Devore

Doug DeVore serves as a Corporate Director in addition to his duties managing the Alaska operations for Mid-State and its subsidiary, TempTel, Inc.

Doug joined Mid-State on January 1, 1999 when Mid-State purchased his companies, Bentheimer Engineering and its subsidiary, TempTel. Doug’s extensive history in the telecommunications industry started in 1971 when he began work for United Telephone Co. in Indiana. He worked in various industry positions until joining Bentheimer Engineering of Alaska, Inc. in 1984 as a Vice-President. In 1997, he became President of Bentheimer and started TempTel, Inc., which employs Union workers represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1547.

 As Regional Vice-President in Alaska, Doug’s responsibilities include preparation of proposals, marketing, managing the Alaska union and non-union employees, and contract negotiations.
