ROW and Environmental Clearance

Excellence in Communications Engineering

Mid-State’s dedicated staff of professional Right-Of-Way Agents have the ability to take care of your Right-Of-Way needs from the day-to-day routines to the larger more complex projects. They can efficiently procure the required documentation for cable routes, buildings and cabinets, towers, or meet the requirements of any other special ROW easement.

Mid-State’s Agents have the expertise required to research public records and verify existing easements as well as locate land ownership. They successfully deal with federal, state and local governing authorities and agencies to insure that when your project is ready to be constructed all of the necessary permits and easements have been secured.

Mid-State’s subsidiary, RW Communication Services, LLC specializes in providing staff for engineering and permitting projects, and its employees and database of experienced “staff for hire” are accustomed to rapid deployment.

Mid-State’s experience with environmental clearance and review has primarily been associated with right-of-way acquisition and permitting for various telephony projects including a large percentage that are funded through loans from the USDA Rural Utilities Service (RUS). We have extensive experience overseeing the work of environmental firms gaining the documentation and clearances required to allow construction of these projects. Mid-State has in-house staff trained and certified to complete tasks including wetlands delineations, biological survey work and assessments, and SHPO records searches as part of the permitting and environmental clearance processes.

Mid-State’s Right-of-Way Agents are Members of the International Right-of–Way Association.
